As an integrated system, Global is comprised of a single range of tinters to provide the full range of automotive colours for basecoat and direct gloss applications. Global BC delivers solid colour, pearlescent and metallic basecoats. Global DG is a 2 K direct gloss acrylic urethane. Global DGLV is a 3.5 VOC direct gloss system that meets high quality demands in VOC - regulated environments. It meets or exceeds OEM warranty requirements and is part of the PPG Lifetime Guarantee program.
The PPG Lifetime Paint Performance Guarantee gives consumers worry-free assurance that their vehicle receives a quality refinish repair and that all products used are state-of-the art and will perform to optimum standards for gloss and durability.
What's Covered*
The PPG Lifetime Paint Performance Guarantee covers the areas of the vehicle refinished with specified PPG products for as long as the customer owns the vehicle. The refinished areas are covered for the following paint failures:
Peeling or delamination of the topcoat and/or other layers of paint
Cracking or checking
Loss of gloss caused by cracking, and hazing
Any paint failure caused by proven defective PPG automotive products which are covered by the guarantee
Rental Car Provision
While defects covered by the guarantee are being repaired, the vehicle owner can be furnished with a rental car if one is requested.

Stewart Auto Repair goes green with PPG waterborne paint.
Stewart Auto Repair has taken a proactive stand in protecting the environment by going “green” with its paint finishing system. The collision center recently switched to a low-VOC PPG waterborne basecoat from a conventional solvent-based system.
“Our use of waterborne basecoat for refinishing our customers’ vehicles significantly reduces the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the atmosphere,” “This

VOCs are chemical compounds commonly used in paint coatings and cleaning products. When released into the atmosphere they help create ozone and smog. When compared to a conventional solvent-based basecoat , PPG Envirobase® High Performance can reduce basecoat sourced VOC emissions by up to 80%.
Waterborne basecoat is the latest coatings technology that’s typically used by manufacturers to create the original color on today’s vehicles. According to PPG, the introduction of its waterborne color toners for use in collision centers provides the enhanced ability to match a vehicle’s original finish.
